En la noche de este domingo 12 de enero se realizará la ceremonia de premiación conocida como “antesala de los Oscars”: la entrega de los Golden Globe Awards 2014.
Los premios, que a diferencia de los Oscars también distinguen a lo mejor de la televisión y separan a sus nominados por género (drama o comedia), serán presentados por las humoristas Tina Fey y Amy Poehler al igual que en 2013. En dicha ocasión fueron las películas “Argo” y “Los Miserables” las elegidas como mejor drama y mejor comedia o musical, respectivamente.
Este año las nominaciones de los Golden Globes las integran en su mayoría películas inspiradas en hechos reales. Las candidatas más fuertes son “12 Years A Slave” y “American Hustle”, que se acreditaron 7 nominaciones cada una, incluyendo Mejor Película, respectivamente, en las categorías de drama y comedia o musical. En lo que respecta a la TV, “Breaking Bad”, “Downton Abbey” y “Brooklyn 99” se ubicaron entre los programas con más nominaciones.
El momento emotivo de la noche estará encabezado por Woody Allen, quien recibirá el reconocimiento Cecil B. DeMille Award por sus “sobresalientes contribuciones al medio del entretenimiento”.
